India has always been a stronghold for the fine arts, but it was only in the past few years that the western art world sat up and finally began to take notice. Most noticeably, Christie’s inaugural auction in India last month produced stunning results, doubling the pre-sale estimate. Basking in the wake of this impressive new trend is the 6^th edition of the India Art Fair, which will take place at the end of January in New Delhi.
