The brief was to provide the brand and interior for this new cafe bar and grill in Leeds.

On one of the oldest streets in the city centre, the building needed a complete refurbishment but benefits from high ceilings and an abundance of light, and is on two floors. The design concept was industrial simplicity: – we wanted to acknowledge the building’s heritage but also give the interior a contemporary twist.

The brick work is painted faux brick and flooring is in wood tiles. Furniture is in leather and wood, and bespoke metal work was commissioned for the signage and the stairs. Lighting and hexagonal tiles in grey and white add a contemporary and minimalist touch.
